Course Outline:
Session 1: The Church and the No-Win Scenario explores the difficulties Christian leaders and Christian followers commonly face when confronted with the issue of divorce and remarriage.
Session 2: "The Marriage is Over!" What Does that Mean? examines several misunderstood terms, dispels common myths, and confronts poor theology concerning marriage and divorce.
Session 3: The Biblical Divorce clarifies the issues of marriage, divorce, and remarriage as Jesus and Paul understood them.
Session 4: When Love Has to Get Tough demonstrates the need for a proactive stance, including separation or divorce, when the sin of one spouse victimizes the other or places the entire family in peril.
Session 5: The Wonders of Grace reaffirms marriage as a sacred bond and declares the sufficiency of God’s grace in all circumstances.
