Course Outline:
Session 1: "Suffering or Divorce? Finding a Way Out of the No-Win Scenario" explores the difficulties pastors and counselors commonly face when one married partner harms the other through unrepentant sin and thendefines typically misunderstood terms, dispels common myths about marriage and divorce, answers poor theology, and examines the options from a biblical perspective.
Session 2: "When Love Has to Get Tough" demonstrates the need for a proactive stance when the sin of one spouse victimizes the other or places the entire family in peril, and then explains how to use legal instruments in civil court to accomplish spiritual objectives.
Session 3: "A Team, a Goal, and a Plan" offers a step-by-step guide to implementing the redemptive divorce process, including how to subject the laws of the State to the authority of Scripture.
